Position Title: Research Analyst - Mid Reports To: Program Manager Clearance Type: Active Top Secret/SCI (willing to take CI Poly) Work Location: National Capital Region Start Date: On Contract Award
Advantage SCI is accepting applications to support a federal agency personnel security program. Summary of duties include but not limited to: Applies analytical strategies to address clients' business needs across a variety of disciplines, including verification and validation or analysis of approach or results, data gathering, interviews, research, or processes and policies. Applies knowledge of background investigative services offered to include Local Agency Check (LAC), National Agency Check with Local Agency Checks and credit checks (NACLC), Single Scope Background Investigations (SSBI), SSBI - Periodic Reinvestigation (SSBI-PR) and Single Scope Background Investigations - Misconduct Investigations (SSBI-MI). Develops and analyzes metrics, performance measurements, requirements, reports and recommendations Provides analysis of complex problems, definition of functional requirements, resource allocation, operations research, modeling, and process analysis and design. Applies detailed knowledge of client's objectives and requirements and applicable federal laws, regulations and directives in the analysis of processes, data, fieldwork, requirements and work products, and documents results. Provides high-level management support, supervision, research and technical support to projects and programs. Develops and monitors project tasks and schedules. Oversees work of task or project teams and provides guidance and mentoring to lower-level analysts.
Experience and Skills Required Qualifications Must have a current TS/SCI and be willing to take a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph examination at the Government's discretion. Bachelor's degree Minimum of four (4) years of experience relevant to the nature of the contract work or equivalent. Working Conditions: Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach Able to sit, stand, walk, run Able to lift up to 50 pounds
