Regulatory Change Management Officer

Our client, the financial services industry, is seeking a Regulatory Change Management Officer to join their team. As a Regulatory Change Management Officer, you will be part of the Regulatory Change Management Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Regulatory Change Management Officer

Location: New York, New York

Pay Range: Anticipated salary between $137,000.00 and $200,000.00

What's the Job?

• Identify and analyze the applicability of new or amended laws, rules, regulations, and regulatory guidance.

• Oversee the timely implementation of regulatory changes across departments.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and proper documentation.

• Maintain and update policies and procedures related to regulatory requirements.

• Draft weekly summaries of relevant laws, rules, and regulations for internal dissemination.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate business degree or J.D. preferred.

• Experience working with regulators, legal, or compliance teams in financial services.

• Strong knowledge of federal and state banking laws and regulations (e.g., FDIC, OCC, SEC, FINRA).

• 4-7 years of specialized experience in financial services or banking regulatory compliance.

• Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
