Construction Project Estimator
As a Construction Project Estimator with Servpro of Duncanville/DeSoto, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers and clients! In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with customers to inspect and photograph all damages.
- Develop/write an estimate to include all construction services required to restore the structure and ensure customer and client satisfaction. (ie ITEL, material reports, engineering reports)
- Document all communications and all follow up communications with customers and clients.
- Communicate with adjusters and clients when needed for project approvals/authorizations.
- Ensure estimate complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
- Ensure proper documentation of each project including photos.
- Assist Project Construction Manager when needed for scope or explanation of scope.
- Follow the claim from inspection to close for documentation and all communications.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous construction experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability
- Effective written and oral communication
- Two years of Xactimate experience, including sketch (required)
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
- Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
- Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
- Ability to climb ladders for inspections and photos
- Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Compensation: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
