Real Estate / Corporate Attorney

A boutique law firm in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced attorney to join its real estate and corporate practice group. This full-time role offers hands-on client interaction and the opportunity to handle diverse matters, including commercial leasing and business transactions across industries—particularly within the hospitality sector. Duties

Advise clients on commercial leasing transactions and business acquisitions

Draft and negotiate real estate and corporate agreements

Provide legal counsel to clients across a range of industries

Participate in client meetings and maintain regular communication

Work closely with senior attorneys on complex real estate and corporate matters

Manage legal filings, due diligence, and transactional documentation

Requirements

3 years of experience in commercial leasing and/or corporate law

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small legal team

Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with direct client interaction

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia (required)

Admission in Maryland and/or Virginia is a plus but not required
