Leidos is seeking multiple RCx Energy Advisors to both market and support an RCx energy-efficiency program for industrial and commercial facilities near Detroit, Michigan.

Location Requirements: This position will require an individual to reside within a commutable distance to our office in Detroit, Michigan . Primarily a remote role with required travel to customer sites and occasional commute to office in Detroit MI.

These exciting positions offer a unique career opportunity for dynamic people who possess excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills to support RCx projects for customers within a creative team environment. Strong knowledge needed in retro-commissioning of HVAC, lighting, and process systems. Must be able to utilize initiative to develop relationships with customers, vendors, and professional organizations to keep up to date and demonstrate knowledge of operational trends, energy efficiency technologies, practices, and regulations in electric and natural gas demand side management.

The Challenge:

• Identify RCx efficiency opportunities, calculate energy savings, maintain strong customer relationships, and deliver presentations

• Conducting site surveys and facilities assessments

• Working on-site with facility managers, facility and manufacturing engineers, contracts, supplies and energy engineers to encourage energy efficiency practices in their facilities

• HVAC system assessments for general conditions and to identify energy savings opportunities.

• Energy analyses based on trending, bin weather data, and regression analysis.

• Building Automation System review, opportunity assessment, and verification work.

• Knowledge of all types and opportunities of building systems, including HVAC, pumps, chilled water, hot water, steam, and compressed air.

• Evaluate energy consuming systems and consult on behalf of the utility energy efficiency program

• Preparing reports and delivering presentations

• This position requires a valid driver's license and physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.

What Sets You Apart:

We will be looking for all levels; salary ranges ($70,000- $150,000) will vary for the position level and other relevant factors

• Junior Level : Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree with two plus (2+) years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

• Mid-Level : Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree with four plus (4+) years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

• Senior Level : Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree with eight plus (8+) years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or energy management. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

• Excellent written and verbal communications are essential.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is required.

• It is critical that productivity and accuracy be demonstrated in performance of work.

You Might also have:

• Ability to perform ASHRAE level I,II, III energy auditing for commercial and industrial facilities.

• Knowledge of different types of Building Automation Systems.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
