Job Highlights:

- Location: SSM Health Dean Medical Group South Madison Campus, WI
- Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.
Embrace Your Calling: As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for taking x-rays and supporting our imaging department. Your role will include performing plain films and fluoroscopy, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding, and provide educational materials.
- Transport patients and assist with their positioning for radiology exams.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary.
- Ensure high-quality images are submitted to PACS.
- Maintain clean and orderly department conditions.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
- No prior experience is required.
- ARRT-R certification is essential.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting of patients and equipment ranging from 0-50 lbs.
