What We Are Looking For:
Woodland Heights Medical Center Radiology Department is now hiring a PRN, licensed RAD TECH to work in our thriving 149-bed acute care hospital. Our RAD TECHS arrange patients for radiological examinations, produce radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems, prevent patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation, rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, and work under immediate supervision.

Which Qualifications Do You Need?In order to set you up for success, you need the basics of...

• Associate's degree from an accredited program and registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Texas Radiologic Technologist certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Rad Tech preferred, but not required.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Duties You'll Perform as a RAD TECH at WHMC:

• Receive instructions from doctors
• Ensure all equipment is operational
• Prepare patients for imaging
• Operate imaging equipment
• Review images
• Print or develop images
• Clean used equipment
• Meet with other patients
• Perform other duties
