Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking passionate and skilled ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to become part of our exceptional healthcare team.

ABOUT BAPTIST HEALTH URGENT CARE:
Baptist Health Urgent Care operates 23 convenient walk-in centers across Arkansas and is an affiliate of Urgent Team, a leader in urgent and family care in the Southeast. We pride ourselves on delivering quality and affordable healthcare services, including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care.

Our centers are open seven days a week:
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Note: The Fort Smith-Northside location is open on weekends from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a vital member of our team, you will perform x-ray testing and facilitate patient movement by applying your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. You will operate diagnostic equipment, develop films, prepare rooms with necessary supplies, and undertake Medical Assistant duties. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled as needed, providing flexibility in your work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities outline the core functions of the role and may be supplemented as necessary:

• Greet patients warmly upon their arrival.
• Communicate clearly about wait times and guide patients through the care process.
• Address patient issues promptly and seek assistance in emergencies.
• Perform follow-up calls with urgency and care.
• Assist front desk staff with check-in/out as required.
• Accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, and pertinent information.
• Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under provider supervision.
• Conduct radiology procedures promptly for physician review and treatment.
• Ensure exams meet quality control standards and prepare patients safely for procedures.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and report malfunctions timely.
• Commit to ongoing education and maintaining current licensure and certification.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• AR State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
