Radiologic Technologist

Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Baptist Health Urgent Care operates across 23 locations in Arkansas and is an affiliate of Urgent Team, a leading provider of urgent and family care services in the Southeast. JOB SUMMARY:
In this role, you will perform vital x-ray testing, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy, patient movement, and body mechanics. You will operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare the examination room with necessary equipment and supplies. Additionally, you will perform Medical Assistant duties. Full-time team members will work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet patients promptly upon their arrival.
• Communicate consistently with patients about wait times and the treatment process.
• Provide solutions to patient issues and seek assistance in emergency situations.
• Execute follow-up calls with a focus on urgency.
• Assist front desk staff with patient check-in and check-out procedures as needed.
• Accurately document patient vital signs and medical history.
• Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under provider supervision.
• Ensure timely completion of radiology procedures for physician evaluation.
• Perform quality control procedures for radiology exams.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions promptly.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and education.
• Maintain current licensure and certification as required.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
High school diploma or equivalent, BLS Certification, AR State X-Ray License, ARRT Certification preferred, and experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
