Schedule: Monday-Friday, Variable Hours, Rotating Day and Evening Shifts, Rotating Weekends

SUMMARY:

Join our team as a Radiologic Imaging Technologist, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients. You will perform and assist radiologists in conducting diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality films while prioritizing the comfort and safety of patients.

The Rochester Regional Health Imaging and Radiology teams are dedicated to delivering top-tier diagnostic and treatment imaging services to communities across Western, Central, and Finger Lakes New York. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform radiography on patients in all assigned areas effectively and efficiently.

• Ensure timely and accurate service delivery to patients, particularly during unsupervised shifts.

• Maintain thorough documentation of exams and related procedures using the RIS/PACS system and patient charts.

• Prepare and restock examination rooms daily to maintain a clean and organized environment.

• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education sessions.

• Deliver excellent customer service and foster positive patient experiences.

• Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology as required.

• Take on additional duties as assigned to support departmental needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two-year college certificate or equivalent education is required.

• NYS license in Radiologic Technology is required OR must hold a NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.

• If licensed after 2007, certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) must be obtained within one year of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant.
