CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Beeville is designated by the Texas Department of Health as a Level IV Trauma Center, providing 24-hour emergency and intensive care services for critically ill or injured patients, stabilizing some 16,500 patients in the ER each year. The hospital offers comprehensive services including Emergency Services, Intensive Care, Medical Surgical Services, Obstetrics, Surgical Services, Critical Care, and Rehabilitation Services. With three operating rooms, eight same-day surgery rooms, two endoscopy rooms, and an expanded outpatient services wing, we are committed to delivering high-quality care.

Summary:

We're looking for a dedicated Radiologic Imaging Technologist to perform a wide array of both routine and advanced imaging procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient flow. As an integral part of our team, you'll collaborate with fellow imaging technologists and demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts and potentially across different campuses as needed. The ideal candidate will possess troubleshooting abilities for basic maintenance, effective participation in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing. Ongoing education and adherence to imaging competencies set forth by management are expected to ensure your professional growth.

• Adapt assessments and care methods to accommodate each patient’s unique needs.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and standards of care as required by regulatory entities.
• Perform necessary examinations and procedures to assist in patient throughput as per your qualifications.
• Work flexible shifts and assist at various campuses as required.
• Ensure the proper scanning and storing of completed exams in the PACS system.
• Follow PACS downtime procedures effectively and report issues to the PACS administrator or designee.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager or Biomedical personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience is essential.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Radiography (R) by ARRT is required.
• State Licensure requirements include:
• Texas: MRT by TMB
• Louisiana: LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBE
• New Mexico: RRT by MIRTP NMED
• BLS certification is required.
