Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 / hour based on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Join our dedicated team as a Radiography Technologist, where you will perform essential imaging procedures according to professional standards and our organization's values. Your work will play a vital role in improving patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient history, assess physician's orders, and conduct scheduling. Educate patients about procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as needed, continuously monitoring patient condition and responding to changes.
• Prepare equipment and select imaging parameters, while ensuring safety standards and quality control procedures are upheld. Troubleshoot equipment issues as required.
• Position patients and conduct imaging procedures, analyzing results to identify any quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions. Enter and transmit images, and collaborate with Radiology students when applicable.
• Exercise critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Necessary specialty certifications and state licensure if required by law.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid for at least sixty days from hire date.
