Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary: Join our dedicated team as a Radiography Technologist I, where you will perform a variety of imaging procedures while adhering to the highest standards of practice. Your role is vital in providing quality patient care aligned with the organization's core values and mission.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient history and physician's orders, ensuring accurate scheduling.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment to guarantee understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within your scope of practice when required.
• Continually monitor patient conditions and respond to any changes appropriately.
• Prepare imaging equipment and supplies, selecting exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implement safety standards and conduct quality control on equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as necessary.
• Position patients and carry out imaging procedures, analyzing results and resolving any quality issues.
• Enter and transmit images accurately and possibly collaborate with Radiology students.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and exercise judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Basic Life Support certification
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and state licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with a card in hand before the start date.
