Responsibilities

  Act as the Chairperson for the Field Quality Meeting for assigned markets.

  Lead the Quality Action Group (QAG) as appointed.

  n

• n

  Search, detect, and quantify customer quality issues early via enhanced analytics.

  n
n
• n

  Prioritize quality actions to achieve committed targets for assigned products.

  n
n
• n

  Recommend rapid containment actions and appropriate quality-solving tools for identified field issues.

  n
n
• n

  Decide which emerging customer issues require pre-investigation.

  n
n
• n

  Initiate, coordinate, and prioritize quality actions within design, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.

  n
n
• n

  Communicate and report on product quality or customer satisfaction within the company.

  n
n
• n

  Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented quality-solving solutions.

  n
n
• n

  Request and present external campaigns based on technical descriptions.

  n
n
• n

  Identify potential safety-related issues from field reports/claims and communicate with the Safety Investigator.

  n
n
• n

  Lead actions/tasks within the PQL network to achieve application quality goals.

  n
n
• n

  Challenge other Product Quality Leaders to prioritize major unaddressed issues.

  n
n

Essential Skills

n
• n

  Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related field.

  n
n
• n

  Master's degree preferred.

  n
n
• n

  5 years of automotive industry experience, preferably in a service or maintenance-related role.

  n
n
• n

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  n
n
• n

  Cross-functional team leadership or project management experience.

  n
n
• n

  Experience in dealership operations or direct dealer interface.

  n
n
• n

  Judgment abilities for prioritizing issues to add value for both customer and brand.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to quickly gain credibility and establish positive relationships/networks.

  n
n
• n

  Experience in predictive analytics and data mining.

  n
n
• n

  Strong customer focus, both internal and external.

  n
n

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  Global experience is an advantage.

• n

  Experience with quality systems such as 8D, 5 Whys, and root cause analysis.

  n

• n

  Experience in the automotive, truck, or heavy equipment industry preferred.

• n

  Good cross-functional communication skills.

• n

  Proficiency in analyzing data, warranty issues, and field issues.

  n

• n

  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
