Quality Assurance Inspector

Staffmark is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in Dayton, OH, for a family-owned and operated business specializing in metal spinning services. Join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring product quality with attention to detail and precision!
Pay: $18.00/hr
1st Shift Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:

• Use precision gauges to inspect metal components against blueprint specifications
• Perform receiving, first-article, and in-process inspections
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with data gathering and reporting systems
• Potential to operate CNC spinning machines and laser cutting machines
• Adhere to company rules, quality system policies, and procedures
• Additional duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong skills in reading technical drawings and using measuring tools
• Proficient in math, including metric and standard systems
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently
• Basic knowledge of materials (e.g., metals)
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks (walking, climbing stairs, twisting, pushing, pulling, using hands and fingers to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms)
• Ability to work under pressure to meet production schedules
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, vision, and teamwork skills
