Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Agent / Purchasing Coordinator to support our customer's procurement operations, work order and PO management, and general administrative functions. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and timely purchasing of materials and services for ongoing construction and R&D projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process work orders and purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
Coordinate and execute purchasing activities, including vendor communication, order placement, and tracking deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, inventory, and PO documentation.
Assist with invoice processing, reconciliation, and vendor follow-ups.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing documentation related to procurement and operations.
Liaise with internal teams to understand procurement needs and timelines.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Help streamline procurement and administrative workflows for efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support (construction or manufacturing industry preferred).
Proven experience using Procore for construction project management and procurement workflows.
Hands-on experience managing work orders and purchase orders, including related administrative tasks.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Coupa or similar procurement platforms is a plus.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
