Pediatric Mental Health Clinician

Provides short term direct clinical services to PAMF Pediatric population with a wide spectrum of social, emotional, relationship and mental health issues. This may include brief individual, group and family sessions for children and adolescents ages toddler to 21 years; completes initial biopsychosocial assessments, refers to community providers as needed for ongoing therapy needs. Works in partnership with physicians, other health practitioners and administrative staff on care coordination and treatment planning and is the principle team resource for all mental health matters. The position also collaborates with the other psychotherapists to implement and sustain best practices in the field of behavioral health.

Education:

Master's: Degree in a Mental Health discipline or equivalent education/experience

Certification & Licensure:

LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR LMFT-Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR PSY-Psychologist of California

Typical Experience:

2+ years of post-licensed relevant experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

Clinical assessment and psychotherapy to clients with diverse clinical presentations, including children and adolescents. Experience using EPIC electronic medical record a plus. Candidate must have desire and ability to work as an active member of an interdisciplinary practice team led by physicians. Required to have CA license in good standing and comply with the most recent Board of Behavioral Science requirements.

Pay Range is $56.79 to $76.66 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
