Job Details
A health services network in New York is currently seeking a new, licensed Psychiatrist for a great Outpatient opportunity with their Behavioral Health team in the Hudson Valley. In this role, the Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing psychiatric care for clients receiving services through the Community Behavioral Health program.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: 100% outpatient
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Call: No weekends
The Psychiatrist will:
- Render psychiatric and neurological diagnostic services for clients, utilizing the contributions of mental health professionals
- Participate in the intake and screening process of patients
- Provide medication management
- Provide referral information to alternate placement facilities
- Review intake and treatment plans and signs the record as required by regulations
- Participate in in-service training
- Participate in information-educational community activities to further community knowledge in the detection and prevention of psychiatric disorders
- Act as a resource person for other staff in the areas of Medicine, Psychiatry, and Neurology
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Licensed to practice Psychiatry in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified
