Immediate Hiring Need For A Program Manager

Join a dynamic team as a Program Manager for the Forward Area Mobility Spray System (FAMS-S), a mobile decontamination system designed to equip U.S. Special Forces with the capability to mitigate chemical and biological agent contamination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of program management, including developing a program roadmap, plan of action and milestones, and an integrated master schedule.
• Coordinate project tasks and engineering milestones to ensure deadlines are met within the agreed time frame and budget.
• Manage project tasks for development projects, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget, adhering to quality standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, discussing design and engineering choices to ensure profitability and adherence to scheduled timelines.
• Facilitate communication between subcontractors, internal partners, and customers.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of program management/project management experience.
• PMP - Project Management Professional Certificate.
• Proficiency in using MS Project and MS Excel for task management.
• Experience supporting defense contracts and military programs.
• Ability to manage customer and internal communication.
• Matrix leadership skills to gain commitment from internal partners.
• Experience in owning budget and schedule management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with aerospace mechanical and defense standards such as AS9100.
• Experience with SolidWorks and design for manufacturing.
• Skills in new product development and introduction.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Tustin, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
