General Production Worker

As a General Production Worker, you will follow work instructions to operate all machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps for our customers. You will be an integral part of maintaining production standards and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to gauge products as required.
• Move material and parts within the cell work area and replenish stock.
• Maintain production, quality, and equipment documentation as needed.
• Understand quality alerts and report issues to the team lead.
• Repair defective or rejected production parts daily.
• Analyze defects and assist with corrective action programs.

Essential Skills

• Manufacturing background with a recent role in a production worker, operator, or assembler position for a total of 2 years.
• Good tenure in previous positions.
• Assembly experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs to physically move pumps for stacking and shipping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Gauge experience is nice to have.

Work Environment

Our newly renovated plant in Warren is equipped with various machines including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, welding, and hand tools. We operate on an 8-hour or 10-hour shift schedule with three shifts available. The plant is a global supplier of automotive components, working with major automotive companies such as Ford, GM, Tesla, and FCA.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
