Production Operator

Position Summary: The Printer Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining high-precision digital printing equipment to ensure the accurate production of custom-printed beverage cans. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate state of the art digital can printing equipment, including setup, calibration, and monitoring during production runs.
• Operate printing line equipment to support overall production flow.
• Inspect printed cans for image sharpness, color accuracy, and overall quality, ensuring alignment with customer specifications.
• Collect and document quality control and production data for analysis.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Identify and troubleshoot printing issues, making adjustments as necessary to maintain print quality and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with Printing Leads and fellow printing staff to uphold quality control standards and ensure all production meets company precision requirements.
• Follow company safety protocols and production procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper handling of materials and supplies.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in printing, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 70 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform quality inspections and handle small components.
