Practical Nurse / Vocational Nurse

Join our team as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse!

Shifts Available: Day and night shifts, as well as prn positions.

As a dedicated Practical or Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and fostering meaningful connections with patients. Your daily contributions will be instrumental in aiding patients on their journey to recovery with Encompass Health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various nursing tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Deliver direct patient care while monitoring vital signs and documenting behavior and responses to treatment.
• Work with diverse patient diagnoses, helping them to achieve their personal goals.
• Assist patients in preparing for discharge, facilitating their return to families and communities.

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN/LVN licensure as per state regulations.
• Current CPR certification is essential.
• A minimum of one year’s experience in a medical-surgical or general hospital setting is preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation is a plus.
