As a Security Professional - Aero Front Desk in Hanover, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more.
As a Front Desk Security Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate: $22.30 / Hour

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, following all security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges as required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any security-related incidents.
- Communicate with site personnel and management regarding security-related matters and potential concerns.
- Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
- Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
