As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol in Southfield, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to provide reassurance to tenants and visitors, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will also be expected to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and work collaboratively with your team to address any issues that arise. This position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal's driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
