Job Description

As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Screener in Lexington, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more.

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role is essential in supporting a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all individuals at the location.

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following instructions from site leadership.
• Document and report any suspicious activity or incidents according to site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
