Join Our Team as a PACU Nurse!

At UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, we are dedicated to improving lives through compassionate patient care. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Travel RN to join our 18 bay Level 1 PACU team.

Position Details:

• Location: UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO
• Schedule: Full Time, 0.9 FTE, with flex shifts (72.00 hours per pay period)
• Compensation: $50.00 per hour with a travel package/stipend available
• Contract Length: 13-week assignments with extension options available
• Local Contracts: Options available for RNs residing within 75 miles

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current CO RN license or eNLC privileges
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

• Provide exceptional direct patient care using the nursing process and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
• Prioritize patient wellness and integrate evidence-based practices into your care routines.
• Guide and mentor new healthcare professionals at UCHealth.
• Embrace ongoing learning in a fast-paced and innovative clinical environment.
• Contribute to maintaining safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities in the PACU:

• Deliver direct care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Operating Room settings.
• Follow AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards to ensure high-quality evidence-based care.
