PORTLAND WAREHOUSE - COLD STORAGE REQUIRED

Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in temperature-controlled environments and food/beverage distribution. You will be responsible for handling various warehouse tasks efficiently and safely, using different types of equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate EPJ in a fulfillment warehouse and manage electronic pallet jack, single and double pallet.
• Pick orders using onboard POS computers and paper pick sheets, and utilize RF scan guns and barcode sticker printers.
• Receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect products, and forward information to the receiving clerk.
• Conduct pallet break downs, restacking, restocking, palletizing, staging, and loading outbound trailers.
• Assist in inventory management, perform cycle counts, and manage date coding.

Essential Skills

• Experience in cold storage distribution with a tenure of 3-4+ years.
• Proficiency in forklift operation, RF scanners, order picking, and electric pallet jack usage.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language for various job tasks.
• Good judgment in operating forklifts safely and handling products efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Riding electric pallet jack experience is highly desirable.
• Capability to work in cold environments and withstand cold temperatures.
• Physical ability to meet requirements including standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day, and lifting 20 to 100 pounds.

Work Environment

Work takes place in a cold storage distribution facility where temperatures are very cold. Employees are required to wear full clothing bibs for protection against the cold.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
