Facility:

This facility is an established healthcare system with a dedicated Wound Clinic and Foot and Ankle Clinic. The Wound Clinic is staffed by a collaborative team of Physicians, Plastic Surgeons, and Podiatrists, offering comprehensive wound care services to the community.

Opportunity: NP/PA - Podiatry/Wound Care

This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a specialized team focusing on wound care and podiatry services. The position offers a 0.8 FTE schedule with regular Monday-Friday clinic hours, no call requirements, and no weekends.

Job Details:

• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills to provide comprehensive care in both the Wound Clinic and Foot and Ankle Clinic
• Manage Wound Clinic patients of all ages in an outpatient setting
• Manage Foot and Ankle patients of all ages in clinical settings and assist with inpatient consultations
• Provide patient education, counseling, and referrals as clinically warranted
• Perform medical evaluations and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory and x-rays
• Implement treatment protocols and perform minor procedures in both wound care and Foot and Ankle clinic settings
• Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Education or experience in wound and burn care, laceration repair, pediatric populations, and x-ray interpretation is desired

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
