JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Pipe Fitter to join our team. The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in alignment with project specifications and industry standards. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine pipe layout and installation requirements.
Cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes and piping systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
Install supports, valves, and fittings to ensure functionality and safety of piping systems.
Conduct system tests for leaks and integrity, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
Weld, solder, or glue pipe joints based on material and application requirements.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair damaged piping systems.
Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with other trades and contractors to achieve project deadlines.
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial, commercial, or residential settings, with PVC experience.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with various pipe materials, including PVC, copper, and steel.
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of piping systems and components.
Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman certification.
Welding certification.
