Pathologist Surveyor Job The Joint Commission
Permanent employed position starting Spring 2025, both full and part-time candidates accepted. Both full and part time employees receive full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO and retirement).
Details/Requirements:
100% nationwide travel, work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm (travel is reimbursed/covered up front - travel days are Monday/Friday, always home on weekends)
30 day onboarding plus 8 weeks of training (2 weeks of virtual classes followed by 6 weeks of hands-on training)
Schedule and Compensation (plus full benefits for full and part time):
2 weeks per month (.48 FTE - $82k salary)
3 weeks per month (.7 FTE - $119k salary) or
4 week per month (1FTE - $171k salary)
Must be a board certified Pathologist with an active license in any state and reside in the lower 48 states
Must have five years of experience working in various components of a hospital and health care system, including three years direct clinical experience and two years management experience is essential.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs., climb stairs, work in settings with infectious diseases, and travel nationwide 100% of work time.
This highly visible and challenging role requires strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, expertise in interviewing and laptop/tablet proficiency. Ideal candidates will have experience in a culturally diverse work environment.
