General Cardiology Opportunity

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add a new full time General Cardiologist to our team at our clinic at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital. This job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

The practice is well established with a team supporting cardiology services at Saint Thomas West Hospital. The EMR system is Athena in Clinic; Cerner in the Hospital. The facility is Ascension Saint Thomas Heart - West located in Nashville, TN.

The responsibilities include BC/BE in Internal Medicine, fellowship trained in General Cardiology, registered physician in vascular interpretation preferred, endovascular medicine certification preferred, completion of 50-100 vascular interpretations annually, outreach to other locations at least one day per week, and working in a team atmosphere with other IC physicians and APPs.
