Responsibilities

We are looking for a child & adolescent psychiatrist for Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Center. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

• This is a Behavioral Health Facility with a full continuum of care for adults and adolescents
• 8 Bed Adolescent Inpatient unit, 15 Bed Adolescent Residential Program and a Day School Program
• Adolescent IOP and traditional outpatient clinic for children, adolescents and adults
• Also provide Adult Inpatient, IOP and traditional outpatient for mental health and addiction

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.
• Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
