Position: PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)

Duration: 9 month contract to hire

Shift Times: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm ET (no nights, no weekends)

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a full-time PTA to help make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults in St Joseph, MI. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you’ll deliver personalized, one-on-one care in our Day Health Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out individualized therapy plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and group maintenance therapy
• Support participants in the center
• Coordinate and monitor durable medical equipment (DME)
• Educate caregivers and families on therapy-related care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards

Qualifications:

• Active or in-progress Michigan PTA license
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
• Strong desire to work in a collaborative, team-based care model

Plusses:

• 1+ year experience working with the frail elderly population

Compensation: $29/hr to $34/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
