Job Summary : As a Pharmacy Intern Associate, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy team, contributing your knowledge and skills to create a service-oriented environment. You will build meaningful relationships with patients while providing safe, accurate, and efficient care to achieve outstanding outcomes for our patients, fellow team members, and the company.

Experience Required : 0 to 6 months

Education Desired : High school diploma or equivalent, along with current enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree program

Certification or Licensing Required : Active in-state Pharmacy Intern License

Lifting Requirement : Up to 25 pounds

Key Responsibilities :

Manage inventory by placing online orders, adjusting order points, and assisting in physical inventory preparations.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to meet Company and governmental standards.
Assist team members to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly and efficiently.
Review service metrics and collaborate on action plans for improvement.
Perform essential duties of a Pharmacy Technician.
Greet and assist patients with compassion, exceeding their expectations through friendly service.
Process transactions using the cash register per established protocols.
Support the safe dispensing of medications and medical equipment by adhering to quality assurance policies.
Comply with all company policies, including HIPAA and regulations regarding pseudoephedrine.
Accurately enter patient data and prescription details, ensuring proper billing documentation.
Alert pharmacists regarding drug utilization reviews and assist in resolving third-party claim issues.
Support company initiatives and contribute to a positive patient care environment.
