Pharmacist Join a High-Volume Retail Team

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions issued by physicians or other authorized prescribers to ensure accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.
• Direct pharmacy workers engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
• Provide information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.

Essential Skills

• Must be licensed in IL.
• Experience in retail pharmacy, such as CVS, Walgreens, or Target.
• Experience with high-volume order handling.

Work Environment

Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts that may vary between 7 am and 7:30 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Initial training is scheduled from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, Illinois

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00/hr.
