Per Diem/PRN Radiology Technologist - Competitive Pay

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for various diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures and processes clearly to patients.
• Setup and adjust imaging equipment based on patient-specific parameters, ensuring high-quality images.
• Implement radiation protection techniques to safeguard patients and staff.
• Conduct routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Process and evaluate images for accuracy and quality control.
• Ensure images are properly prepared for radiologist review.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York.
• ARRT certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a Radiologic Technologist role.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR software.
