Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Per Diem)

Location: Sheridan, MT
Contract Type: Per Diem
Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts 
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in both ER and Med/Surg departments.
• Perform triage, assessment, and continuous monitoring of patient conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as required.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Float between ER and Med/Surg units based on staffing and patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Respond promptly to critical situations, maintaining calm and professional communication.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Montana (or Compact license).

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency or Med/Surg settings.
• Prior experience in Critical Access or Rural Health facilities preferred.
• Must be comfortable with multitasking and floating between units.
