Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by APTA.
• Must hold a current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in your assigned state.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT, in accordance with state practice guidelines.
• Assist the PT in identifying suitable patients for rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress accurately on a weekly basis and ensure timely co-signature by the PT.
• Obtain MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges as required.
• Complete all necessary documentation as per state guidelines.
