We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician with a focus on pediatric care for a locum tenens assignment in California. The physician will join an outpatient intergenerational health center, providing primary care to patients from infancy through age 18. Spanish-speaking skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide outpatient pediatric care in a family practice setting
Oversee patient coverage for 20-25 cases per eight-hour shift
Manage cases for patients from birth through 18 years of age, including infants and newborns
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across primary care, dental, and dermatology services
Utilize Athenahealth EMR for patient documentation and care coordination

Additional Information

Active California medical license required
Board certification in Family Medicine required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum of 2 years of physician experience preferred
Full contract commitment is necessary for consideration
