Department Details
Our pediatric specialty clinic is looking for an LPN or CMA to join the team! In this role, you will work closely with pediatric endocrinology providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver personalized care to our patients. Our clinic specializes in caring for children with diabetes, growth concerns, and a variety of other endocrinology issues. Additionally, our staff, along with our pediatric endocrinology providers, travels to several outreach clinics throughout the region, ensuring that children have access to the specialized care they need for their health and wellness. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clinic setting with a diverse range of patients!

We operate Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, offering a schedule with no weekends or holidays. Join our passionate team of pediatric nurses and support staff dedicated to providing patient-centered care!

Job Summary

We're on the lookout for a dedicated and positive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high-quality, holistic care to our patients throughout their healthcare journey, ensuring they feel supported and heard. Our ambulatory LPNs work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician and have the opportunity to serve as the primary nurse for a provider within their scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients
• Documents comprehensive medical histories from patients
• Contributes to patient assessments and administers medications or treatments as prescribed
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals
• Counsels patients and families, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans

Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. If the position requires IV therapy/management skills, please note that in North Dakota, this includes graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. Must currently hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing Board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Maintain all necessary department-specific competencies and certifications.
