Payroll Specialist

Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support HR and Payroll teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and a strong communicator. If this sounds like the right fit for you, please apply!

Job Title: Payroll

Location: York, PA (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $27

Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Assist the payroll team with processing and validating employee changes accurately and efficiently.
• Experience with Ceridian (a payroll software) or general payroll tax processes is preferred.
• Work closely with the Payroll and HR teams to address employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team members.
• Auditing Experience: Reviewing payroll records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with internal and external standards.
• Understanding of GL (General Ledger) and Mapping: Points to a need for accounting knowledge, especially how payroll data integrates with financial systems

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience with data exchange systems.
• 2+ years of HR and/or payroll experience.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
