Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Store Associate, where your friendly and positive energy will enhance the shopping experience for customers both in-store and online. As a crucial part of our team, you will assist customers, maintain a clean environment, and support various sales and warehouse duties, all while embodying our company values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting every customer and assisting them with their shopping needs.
- Promote the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and help enroll new members.
- Engage with customers by answering product questions and managing transactions, whether in-store or through digital orders.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe shopping environment, including clearing aisles, organizing merchandise, and ensuring our store meets DSW standards.
- Receive incoming shipments and effectively manage inventory on the sales floor.
- Fulfill customer orders by locating items, inspecting product condition, and preparing them for pick-up or delivery.
- Handle customer transactions with accuracy, ensuring the correct processing of payments and change.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience Leader to resolve any customer service issues.
- Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills.
Qualifications:
- Availability to meet the needs of the store.
- Strong customer service focus and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain a quick pace.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable using technology such as registers and mobile devices.
- Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
