Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to conduct a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures. You will provide essential support to fellow technologists, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Flexibility is key, as you'll be required to work different shifts and potentially at various campuses. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting equipment, participating in quality assurance processes, and addressing any issues with image processing or archiving systems. Ongoing education and adherence to safety protocols are expected as part of our commitment to patient and staff well-being.

• Ensure compliance with standards from regulatory agencies and the hospital.
• Perform necessary examinations and procedures to optimize patient throughput.
• Flexibly work across various shifts and locations when required.
• Ensure exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS.
• Follow PACS downtime procedures, addressing issues as the PACS Superuser when necessary.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate effectively with management and biomedical personnel.
• Complete any additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or approved equivalent.

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required.
• State Licensure as follows:
• Texas: MRT by TMB
• Louisiana: LRT (N) or (F) by LSRTBE
• New Mexico: NMT by MIRTP NMED
• BLS certification required.
