Shift: 12 Hours - Night Shifts

Job Schedule: Part time

Weekly Hours: 24.00

Salary Range: 26.00 - 36.00

Pay Info: $5,000 Sign On Available, Relocation Reimbursement Available

Department Details

Work from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, every third weekend and every other holiday.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate nursing care for residents in our long-term care facility. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will:

• Demonstrate your knowledge of nursing principles relevant to the care of each resident.
• Assess resident health and administer medications or treatments as prescribed.
• Document interactions and the outcomes related to resident care, medications, and activities.
• Assist in emergencies by recognizing issues and implementing solutions.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare teammates.
• Educate residents and families on care plans and prevention strategies under supervision.

Engage as a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of our residents while utilizing age-appropriate standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; an associate degree is preferred.
• Must possess an unencumbered LPN license and meet state requirements for IV therapy if needed.
• Previous clinical experience with direct resident care is essential.
• Commit to ongoing education and training to maintain competencies.
