Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50

Pay Info: This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of $2,500.

Job Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) serves as an essential caregiver for residents in long-term care. You will provide resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your role includes, but is not limited to, delivering age-appropriate care in alignment with individual care plans, maintaining infection control practices, and providing support in daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.

In this position, you will:

• Assist residents with health care needs, daily living activities, and psychosocial support.
• Document interactions concerning resident care, behavior, and dietary needs.
• Communicate any changes in condition to the charge nurse promptly.
• Assist with meal preparations to enhance dining experiences for residents.
• Maintain cleanliness in living areas through housekeeping and laundry services.
• Facilitate resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old, with prior clinical experience preferred.
• MUST obtain state CNA certification within four months if not already certified; training is provided.
• Complete annual competency testing and maintain continuing education hours as required.
