Location: 411 Calumet Ave N, De Smet, SD 57231, USA

Shift: 8 Hours - Evening Shifts

Weekly Hours: 24.00

Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50

Incentives: This position is eligible for a Sign-on Bonus!

Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, resident-centered care to our seniors during your scheduled shifts. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering compassionate daily living assistance and nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Adhering to infection prevention policies and correctly utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Supporting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Recording vital signs and monitoring resident responses to care.
• Assisting with safe transfers, repositioning, and ambulation, employing proper techniques and equipment.
• Enhancing residents' dining experiences by assisting with meal preparation and providing help during mealtimes.
• Communicating any changes in residents' conditions to the charge nurse promptly.
• Documenting interactions and care outcomes accurately.
• Contributing to housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean living environment.

Qualifications:

• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 16 years old. Prior experience in long-term care is advantageous.
• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to obtain within four months.
• Completion of annual competency testing and 12 hours of continuing education is required.
