Your Impact:
As a DSW Retail Associate, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide exceptional service by greeting every customer warmly and understanding their needs.
- Promote our DSW Loyalty program and facilitate new member enrollments.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and process transactions efficiently, both in-store and for online orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for everyone.
- Receive freight, prepare merchandise to meet our standards, and keep the sales floor well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Fulfill online orders by ensuring products are ready for customer pickup or delivery.
- Handle transactions accurately, ensuring cash and change are managed correctly.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience Leader (CEL) to address customer concerns swiftly and professionally.
- Adhere to asset protection policies to safeguard our store and customers.
- Contribute to team discussions and be open to ongoing learning and development.
Required Skills:
- Availability to support business needs.
- A friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable using technology (registers, mobile devices) to assist customers.
- Capable of standing or walking for most of your shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Willingness to frequently bend, kneel, or crouch.
Experience:
- Previous retail experience is not required; we welcome enthusiastic individuals ready to learn!
The estimated pay range for this position is $16.75 to $17.75. Actual pay will be determined through a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and organizational needs. Please note that this range does not encompass benefits such as health insurance or retirement plans.
