Pay Info: $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Available

Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide essential nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will:

• Utilize your nursing expertise to address the physical and psychosocial needs of residents according to their care plan.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring health, comfort, and safety.
• Document resident care and interactions, and contribute actively to the assessment process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate clearly with residents and their families regarding care plans and treatment options.

Your skills in establishing effective working relationships will be key to your success. This role involves responding effectively to emergent situations and counseling residents and family members under direction.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Preferred: Associate degree in practical nursing.
• Completion of an IV therapy course or attendance at a Board-approved program if required.
• Current unencumbered LPN license and optional multi-state licensure privileges.
• Maintenance of required competencies and completion of continuing education.
