Job Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a critical role in providing compassionate care and support to residents in a long-term care setting. Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Providing age-appropriate care while considering the physical and psychological needs of each resident.
• Assisting with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.
• Facilitating resident mobility by assisting with transfers and exercises.
• Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meal preparation and eating.
• Documenting resident interactions and reporting changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Maintaining a clean and safe living environment by providing housekeeping and laundry services.
• Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16 and prior experience in long-term care is preferred.
• CNA certification required; training and certification will be provided.
• Completion of yearly competency testing and continuing education is expected.
• Must meet specific driving qualifications if duties require driving.
