Schedule: 9:00AM - 3:00PM

SUMMARY:

Join our dedicated team as an Associate Addiction Therapist, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. In this position, you will provide essential services including patient screening, case management, crisis response, and more, all while working in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct initial screenings for clients entering substance use disorder programs.
• Facilitate intake and orientation processes to ensure smooth transitions for clients.
• Maintain comprehensive case management and make referrals to community providers as needed.
• Offer basic crisis response and support for clients pre and post-admission.
• Lead group sessions under the supervision of a licensed professional as permitted by OASAS guidelines.
• Deliver psychiatric and addiction education to empower clients on their recovery journey.
• Ensure accurate reporting and record-keeping according to program requirements.
• Make collateral calls and obtain necessary consents to support client care.
• Engage clients through various communication methods including telephone, video, and in-person interactions.
• Prepare and supervise toxicology screenings.
• Collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated care for patients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to secure CASAC-T certification within 12 months.
• Completion of a relevant clinical internship or at least one year of experience in chemical dependency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possession of CASAC-P is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. This role involves primarily sitting, with brief requirements for standing or walking.
